About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactiveWarehouse Operativeto support the smooth running of our warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organisation, and thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment. You’ll play a key role in preparing equipment, managing stock, and ensuring all deliveries are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and log incoming deliveries
• Unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently
• Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
• Carry out regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records
• Monitor stock levels and flag any shortages or issues
• Organise and label stock, keeping shelves and storage areas tidy
• Keep the warehouse unit and external bin area clean, safe and well-maintained
• Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly targets
• Assist with minor collections, drop-offs, or maintenance when needed

Working Hours

• 20 hours per week
• Flexible hours to suit delivery schedules and business needs
• A new rota is issued every two weeks
• Must be available on days when deliveries are due

Requirements

• Aged 18 or over
• Physically fit and capable of manual lifting
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Able to work independently and follow instructions
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Prior warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential
