Pay rate: £17.36 per hour

Shifts – 09:00 – 18:00 (unless otherwise specified). Guaranteed 9 hours work on each day – unless specified different as per above start time

Operators are required:

• To be able to follow clear instructions.
• Always adhere to Safety Standards.
• To be able to use a variety of tools, for example Impact Drivers, Drills, Stanley Knives, and measuring tools.
• To show agility and be able to adapt to change easily with the support of the Royal Mail Lead at that time.
• To be physically fit.
• Be punctual and flexible, as work requirements may vary on working days.

Specifically:

• Be able to bolt and unbolt Royal Mail sorting Frames.
• An A Frame is approximately 5 ft high, 6 ft wide, and weighs about 45 kg (steel construction).
• Use a drill to unscrew and screw bolts into Frames.
• With the support of colleagues, be able to move and reposition sorting Frames.
• Under the direction of a Royal Mail lead, use Vinyl Wrap and Duct Tape to position onto sorting Frames.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles (large vans) on operational sites.
