Your Mission

As a Warehouse Operative at Years.com, you’ll play a hands-on, essential role in keeping our production flow running smoothly and safely. You’ll be part of the Operations team, responsible for handling and moving core ingredients, supporting daily production needs, and ensuring our freezers and storage spaces are clean, organised, and compliant.

This role sits at the heart of our physical operation - making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time. From preparing meat for tempering, picking fresh veg, unloading deliveries, and supporting the production floor, your day-to-day will be active and varied. You’ll work closely with the wider Ops team including Production, Pack and Fulfilment to make sure every meal we produce is delivered with care and precision.

This is a highly hands-on role that’s all about execution, reliability, and teamwork. You’ll take pride in keeping things moving behind the scenes while living our clean-as-you-go mindset and maintaining strong communication with the people around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make sure production has the right stock at the right time to hit line speed
  • Oversee goods-in processes and day-to-day warehouse operations
  • Ensure correct handling, rotation and storage of stock across all zones
  • Manage meat tempering with full end-to-end tracking
  • Work closely with the Stock Controller on stock call-offs
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team, setting clear daily tasks and priorities
  • Collaborate with Production, PPP and Engineering to reduce downtime
  • Monitor third-party deliveries (inbound and outbound) for efficiency
  • Continuously seek improvements in warehouse layout, systems and processes
  • Provide relevant data and insight to support reporting and performance reviews

What You'll Bring

  • Comfortable working across chilled, frozen, and ambient storage areas
  • Confident using warehouse systems and tools (goods in/out, tempering logs)
  • Valid counterbalance and reach truck licence is required
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude — you spot and fix problems before they escalate
  • A calm, organised mindset — especially when things get busy
