Job Title: Lidl Warehouse Operative

Effective from 1st August 2024: Salary will increase to £12.70 - £13.35

As a Lidl Warehouse Operative, you’ll ensure our stores receive the right stock when needed. Your responsibilities include picking products and assisting with team tasks like checking stock. You’ll work independently through your orders, helping to get over 2,000 products into our customers’ hands and ensuring our shelves are stocked.

What you'll do

• Follow picking instructions carefully via headset to complete tasks efficiently
• Pack a variety of products, including meat, fruit, frozen, and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour for low-temperature work at -18°C)
• Ensure deliveries are well-stacked and secure
• Report damaged items to your manager
• Work independently and responsibly through your orders

What you'll need

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Motivation to meet goals and targets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly
• Self-motivation and dedication
• Previous experience with night shifts is preferred

*Maximum rate includes £1.50 extra per hour for hours worked in the freezer and £3.50 extra per hour for hours worked between 23:00 - 05:00.
