Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Warehouse Operative in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for picking products, checking stock and helping with team tasks to ensure shelves are stocked and orders are fulfilled.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate with additional pay for night shifts and bank holidays, plus a benefits package including a discount, pension and holiday entitlement. Training and progression opportunities are provided.

You’ll work through your orders independently to help get our 2,000-plus products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, our shelves would be empty.

Summary

£13.80 - £14.45 per hour* | Various shifts available:- Fruit & Veg department 9:30-18:00 OR Chiller department 12:00-20:30 (Minimum of 2 out of 4 weekends to be worked, both Saturday and Sunday in a month)

What you'll do

• Be a multitasker, carefully listening to picking instructions through your headset to carry them out swiftly
• Pack a variety of our products including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C)
• Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
• Report any damaged items to your manager
• Be responsible for independently working through your orders
