Here at GXO Northampton we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. Working at our equipment management site, where it’s all about recycling & reuse, for one of the largest supermarket retailers in the UK. You'll play a key role in a busy recycling centre, handling cardboard, plastic, and food waste, as well as supporting the efficient operation of the tray wash process.

You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 18:00.

• An hourly rate of £12.94, that is an annual salary of £28,260.96

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Load empty trays and buckets onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine, stack away and wrap ready for collection
• Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Other warehouse duties depending on operations needs
