Job summary

ctrg are partnering with the Co-op to offer Warehouse Operative roles at the Birtley site on the Drum Industrial Estate. You will be responsible for picking and stacking goods accurately, using a voice-picking system, with full training provided for the LLOP.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK.
• Must have a bank account in your own name and valid Right to Work documents.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg; training for LLOP provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) – training provided.
• Pick and stack goods using a voice-picking system.
• Meet daily pick targets (increasing during onboarding).
• Report any issues to relevant departments.
• Support other warehouse areas when required.
• Maintain smooth and safe warehouse operations.

Role: Warehouse Operative (AWR 0-2 Years)
Location: Co-op Birtley, DH2 1AE
Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 06:00-14:00 | £12.89-£21.27
• Back Shift: 14:00-22:00 | £14.83-£21.27

This is a 5‑days‑out‑of‑7 role and will include some weekend work, paid at an enhanced rate.

About the Role

ctrg are working in partnership with the Co‑op and have exciting Warehouse Operative opportunities at the Birtley site on the Drum Industrial Estate.

We're looking for energetic, reliable individuals to join our team. You'll be responsible for picking and stacking goods accurately and efficiently, using warehouse equipment (full training provided).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) - training provided
• Pick and stack goods using a voice‑picking system
• Meet daily pick targets (these increase gradually during onboarding)
• Report any issues to relevant departments
• Support other warehouse areas when required
• Maintain smooth and safe warehouse operations
