Job summary

GSF Car Parts LTD is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support a busy branch in covering holidays and absences. You will be involved in checking and putting away supplier deliveries, picking and loading vans, and inspecting customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.

Working hours can reach up to 41 per week Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays. A fast-paced warehouse background, good numeracy and literacy, and strong customer service focus are essential.

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes. As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences. Main Duties include:

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours: Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working - depending on the cover needed in the branch.
