Job description

Our client, a prominent employer in the Montrose area, is looking to recruit a temporary Stores Operator. This is an ongoing, temporary to permanent position.

The role involves physical work, including lifting and moving loads of varying weights, requiring good manual handling techniques. It also involves handling process materials.

Pay rate: £15.35 per hour

Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities & Skills Required
  1. Responsible for inbound deliveries, movement of materials around the site, outbound warehouse activities, sampling, and dispensing of raw materials.
  2. Competent in Goods in warehouse activities.
  3. Ensure all warehouse activities meet regulatory requirements.
  4. Operate warehouse computer systems, including SAP.
  5. Report potential problems with materials or transport that could impact customer needs.
  6. Respond to the needs of the Montrose site in a customer-focused manner, prioritizing workload to avoid delays.

Tasks should only be undertaken without supervision once properly trained.
