Warehouse Operative Job Description

Position: Warehouse/Assembly Worker

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview: Milenco Ltd. is seeking a reliable and dedicated warehouse/assembly worker to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in various warehouse operations, including order picking and packing, assembly work, and daily manufacturing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly Duties:Participate in product assembly, including tasks such as making locks, applying stickers, and boxing up items. Experience with power tools is a plus.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, which includes loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
• Stock Management: Receive and process stock products (picking, unloading, labeling, storing).
• Inventory Control: Perform regular inventory checks, maintain quality standards, and assist with audits.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and optimally organized to maximize space utilization.
• Discrepancy Reporting: Report any stock discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures, as well as company rules and regulations.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or production/assembly environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Forklift truck driving experience is advantageous but not required.
• Experience in MIG welding is an advantage, but not essential.
