Job summary

Newstaff MK in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team on a temporary basis with the chance to go permanent for the right person. The role involves picking, packing and rework, including some heavy lifting.

The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and comfortable working independently or as part of a team, with safety boots and a hi‑visibility vest required. Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:40pm, £12.71 per hour.

Warehouse Operative – Rework & Picking

Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:40pm

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Picking and packing orders for overseas customers
• Reading and accurately following information on pick notes
• Using a PC to input and update information
• Picking customer orders for rework
• Re-labelling items accurately
• Repacking products ready for dispatch
• Checking labels and product information carefully
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Some heavy lifting will be involved

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent attention to detail, particularly when re-labelling items
• Be comfortable using a PC and entering information accurately
• Be able to follow written instructions and pick notes
• Be reliable and punctual
• Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Be happy working on your own as well as part of a team
• Be comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks and rework duties
• Have your own safety boots and high-visibility vest
• Be available to work Monday to Friday, with no weekend work
