Overview

Driver Hire Milton Keynes are recruiting for a number of Warehouse Operatives to work for our logistics client based near Milton Keynes. Our client is one of the UK's leading furniture suppliers, offering goods to hundreds of stores across the country. We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates to work within our client's warehouse on an ongoing basis with the view to full-time employment for the right candidates.

Job duties

Job duties will include: helping sort and distribute goods around the warehouse by loading and unloading stock from incoming and outgoing vehicles in a safe and compliant manner. Another key task will be assisting with the transportation of goods around the warehouse and making sure they\'re stored in the correct areas ready to be distributed. You\'ll also be responsible for working within a friendly team and ensuring that the warehouse is safe and tidy at all times.

Qualifications and attributes

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives with the following attributes:

• 1-year warehouse experience is preferred, but not compulsory
• Must be a reliable individual
• Must be hardworking
• Must be physically fit as heavy lifting of furniture will be involved
• Flexible with start times
• An excellent team player
• Confident in working individually
• Reach forklift license advantageous

Shifts

Shift times are:

• AM 06:00 AM / 15:00 PM
• Mid AM 09:00 AM / 18:00 PM
• PM 14:00 PM / 23:00 PM

Pay

Pay rates are from £16.07 per hour VIA our payroll company. PAYE rates are available on request. Our client predominantly operates Monday to Sunday. You must be able to work any 5 shifts across the 7 day week (shift pattern depending).

Benefits

We also offer a performance bonus competition which allows individuals the chance to earn up to an extra £40 a week. Our client will offer full health and safety training and support.
