Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for a leading logistics company. Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work in Trafford Park, Manchester. The rate of pay is £12.85 per hour. Overtime is available after working over 37.5 hours and is paid at £19.28 per hour. 10% increase in all hours worked between 7pm to 6am. You will work fixed shifts and be able to work any 5 days out of 7. The hours of work are: 6am to 2pm (morning shift); 12pm to 8pm or 2pm to 10pm (afternoon shift); 10pm to 6am (night shift).

Your Time at Work

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the accurate and efficient picking and loading of stock for distribution to the customer.
• Deliver a high standard of productivity in the warehouse to ensure a smooth operation allowing us to deliver the correct products for our customer on time and in full.
• You will use Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pick by Voice RF technology to meet these agreements in a professional manner and to the highest standard.

This role may involve heavy lifting of items weighing up to 25kg and you will be required to work in a Multi-Temperature Environment in 2 Chambers varying from -25 Freezer, +3 Chill.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Good level of English communication and basic numeracy due to the Voice Picking System. Must be accurate and safe when picking products.
• Physically fit and willing to work in chilled, ambient and freezer conditions. Suitable PPE will be provided.
• Experience as a Warehouse Operative or Production Operative is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
