Job description

Warehouse Operative
We are looking for a number of permanent Warehouse Operatives for our client, who are a leader in the freight forwarding industry.

Key details:
This is shift work, we need full flexibilityfrom candidates to workboth day and night shifts. The role will include working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
12 hour shifts - 7pm - 7am.
Premium payments available for unsociable hours - nights and weekends.

The role and responsibilities:
- As a warehouse operative you will be using fork trucks to load and unload vehicles.
- You will be building and breaking down unit load devices.
- Some manual handling will be involved, although our client are tools-led.
- Covering a mixture of imports and exports.

What we are looking for:
- Highly motivatedwarehouse operatives with a can-do attitude.
-A counter balance forklift license is essential.Reach would also be beneficial, but not essential.
- Previous experience breaking down and building ULDs (airline pallets) is preferable.
- Previous experience within an airline or very large forwarding company is highly preferred. Knowledge of aviation codes will be a huge benefit for the position.
