Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for a company in the Birkenhead area. The role involves packing, inspecting for damage, labeling and despatching items with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Basic DBS check is required and full induction training with a buddy system will be provided. The assignment starts at the beginning of October 2026.

Meridian business support is recruiting for a Warehouse operatives for a Company based in Birkenhead area.

Warehouse operative Duties include:

• Wrap, box, and seal items securely using appropriate packing materials, then attach shipping labels
• Inspect items for damage or defects before packing to ensure order accuracy
• Using industrial packaging materials, such as cardboard boxes/Envolopes to safely and securely package goods
• Following health and safety policies and procedures in the warehouse

• Picking, Packing and Despatching
• Knowledge of the different industrial packaging techniques and materials
• Ability to spend long periods of time on their feet
• High accuracy level to ensure customers receive the right items
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Background Checks & Eligibility

• Basic DBS Check:

Due to the nature of our operations and to ensure a safe working environment, all successful candidates will be required to undergo a Basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check prior to starting employment.

Hours & Shifts:

Monday - Friday / 9AM - 4:30PM

£ 12.71 per hour
