Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Outbound

Location: Leeds LS11 0LR

Reports To: Outbound Manager

Hours: 36 hours per week - Sunday 08:00 - 14:00, Monday - Thursday 17:30 - 01:00

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out various roles within the warehouse, including picking and packing orders across different areas, and supporting transport activities as needed. The role involves ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

Essential:

• High visual accuracy
• Good verbal communication skills
• Basic written communication skills
• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Customer care skills

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse experience

• Accurately assemble items from pick documentation and ensure correct quantities
• Use appropriate packaging to prevent damage and report damages
• Report pick face errors and other issues immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Manual Handling

Manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are essential for this role. Applicants must be able to perform these duties, and reasonable adjustments cannot be made for those unable to do so.
