Bestway Healthcare is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative in Leeds to join our team. You will utilize digitized handheld picking scanners and stock accounting scanners to ensure efficient operations and fulfill customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will assist in various warehouse activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Job description

Utilise digitized handheld picking scanners to accurately pick orders and fulfill customer requirements.

Operate stock accounting scanners to maintain accurate inventory records and track stock movements.

Assist in receiving, storing, organising, and distributing products within the warehouse.

Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and targets.

Always adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Handle and package product carefully to prevent damage during handling and transport

Maintain a positive and proactive attitude to contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment in the warehouse.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team in a multi-functional warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities, including picking orders using digitised handheld picking scanners, using stock accounting scanners, and ensuring efficient operation within the warehouse.

Key knowledge and skills required:

• Previous experience in fast paced warehouse environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with digitized handheld picking scanner and stock accounting scanners in an asset
• Good communication and ability to work as a team is advantageous
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and warehouse processes

Problem solving & Change:

• Addressing discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
• Resolving issues related to pick errors or damaged product
• Troubleshooting pick issues and scanner issues.
• Adapting to new technologies and software updates to warehouse Operations
• Embracing continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse processes
