Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure orders are picked, packed and ready for delivery. You will support efficient stock coordination and delivery timeframes.

Working around 22 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays, you will contribute to fast-paced operations while maintaining accuracy and customer service standards in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of car parts and automotive industry desirable.

Job description

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes. Main Duties include:

Main Duties

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours: 22 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

Candidate Qualities and Requirements

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A good team player
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
