Job summary

CLASS 1 PERSONNEL in Hounslow is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution site. You will use hand-held devices to locate cargo, process paperwork and palletize goods.

This role requires experience in a modern warehouse, flexibility for shift patterns, and a readiness to work 24/7. Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy modern warehouse.
• Ability to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to shift patterns.
• Reliable and flexible with a positive, proactive approach.
• Willingness to undergo Aviation Security and DBS clearance as required.

• Handle special cargo products and palletise cargo as needed.
• Build and break pallets and prepare cargo for shipment.

Salary: GBP12.8 - GBP14 per hour + Holiday Pay

Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative, Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain based in Hounslow, TW6 3UA:

Candidates for Warehouse Operative will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.

Process paperwork in accordance with our clients' requirements.

Handling special cargo products

Building and breaking pallets

Preparing and palletizing cargo as needed

To make a success of this role, you must have previous experience of working in a busy modern warehouse

Be a great team player and show a flexible and self-motivated approach to your role.

Aviation Security requirements:

Be able to provide your last 5 years history-Ideally only 1-5 jobs since 2021

HMRC LETTER or PDF via app required

Clean DBS- No criminal record

Our warehouse -Hounslow, TW6 3UA- operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will also need to be prepared to work shift patterns.

No need but ideal - Forklift Truck driving experience and be certified as a forklift driver
