Job description

Warehouse Operative roles available working Nights on a long term ongoing basis for a leading logistics company based at Heathrow airport with free parking onsite, ongoing work available with set shifts!!

Hours & Shifts: Any 4 out of 7 including weekends so flexibility is required
Nights: start times from 8pm-12am (2000-0000) - work between 8 and 12 hours per night dependent on workload

Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour + overtime over 40 hours per week paid at x1.5 rate (£18.00 per hour)

As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a chilled warehouse environment undertaking any of the following duties:

- Unloading and loading of vehicles
- Picking and Lifting 25kg polystyrene boxes with salmon and other food inside
- Place all boxes in one area ready for a large shipment onto a container
- A performance driven operation with tight deadlines
- Involves manual handling and standing for long periods of time

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following:

- Warehouse Operative experience ideally
- Ability to work in a targeted environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and be physically fit to manually lift heavy items up to 25kg
- Excellent attention to detail

The role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS check and provide verifiable 5 years worth of employment/ education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support cover the cost.
