We are recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Operative to join a Leading Global Horticultural Organisationin Ledbury to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of their dispatch operations. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Role Summary
The Warehouse Operative will support the day-to-day operations of the dispatch area, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. This role requires a reliable, safety-conscious individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
Daily Operations: Arrive early to review the packing plan, prepare tray labels, and coordinate with the Dispatch Team Leader. Ensure pallets are correctly stacked and arranged for easy loading.
Safety & Compliance: Follow dispatch procedures, complete daily forklift checks, and report any hazards or accidents. Maintain a tidy and organised dispatch area.
Operational Support: Load lorries safely and efficiently, handle defective trays, and ensure all operational systems and documentation are correctly completed.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative in a fast-paced production environment, particularly in dispatch or logistics.
- Understanding of food production is preferred.
- Proactive and detail oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential with the ability to operate machinery safely.
