Job description

Warehouse Operative

Location: Leeds (initially in Harrow, then relocating to Hemel Hempstead)

Salary: £24,000-£26,000 per annum

Type: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 8-hour shifts, overtime available

Start date: 2025-06-19

Note: Must be able to commute to both locations.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our client’s growing team. If you enjoy a busy environment, take pride in accuracy, and are a hardworking team player, this role could be perfect for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and inspecting goods
  • Booking stock into the system accurately
  • Picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch
  • Handling and storing materials, including some hazardous items
  • Using scanners and warehouse systems to manage inventory
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ warehouse experience
  • Comfortable with manual handling; this is a physical role
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
  • IT confident, experienced with stock systems and scanners
  • Team player with a pride in quality work
  • Forklift and full UK driving license are advantageous
Additional Information:

Initial training in Harrow for 2 months, then relocating to Hemel Hempstead. Must be able to commute.
