Warehouse Operative

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for our clients based at Heathrow Airport. We can be very flexible with applicants who can work days and night shifts (12hrs), with our clients being open Monday to Sunday each week.

This Warehouse Operative role will involve:

1. Must be willing to lift up to 25kg on a regular basis.
2. Building ULDs & handling imports/exports in the warehouse and transport sectors.
3. Working with the team to ensure a clean and tidy work environment is always in place.
4. Comparing inventory received with freight details and reporting discrepancies.
5. Moving freight to storage areas and organizing goods for easy retrieval.
6. Padding and wrapping freight to reduce the risk of damage during shipment.
7. Inspecting incoming freight for damage and recording details of observations.
8. Operating and maintaining heavy equipment used to manoeuvre freight around the warehouse.
9. Maintaining logs of daily activities.
10. Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Pattern:
Days: 06:30-18:30 / 07:00-19:00
Nights: 18:30-06:30 / 19:00-07:00

Hourly Rate:
Days - #removed#
Nights - 13.00

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Government ID (Driving license or passport).
2. Full 5 year checkable history.
3. Clear DBS.
4. Right to work in the UK.
5. Ability to handle goods up to 25kg.
6. Available to work 12-hour shifts.
7. Good English skills (verbal & written).
8. Flexibility during peak periods.
9. Team player & capable of working independently.
