Storeman/Storewoman
Slough
12 months temporary with the potential to go temp to perm
£15-16 per hour - 37.5 hours per week
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am-4pm

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Storeman/Storewoman to join our client who is a leading global paints and coatings company. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of materials, point of sale & equipment to meet business operations and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take delivery of goods and supplies
  • Check for damaged or missing items
  • Store goods appropriately
  • Pick and pack orders for dispatch
  • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
  • Load goods for dispatch
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors to follow up on late or incomplete deliveries.
  • Maintaining agreed levels of stock of ancillary equipment including spectrophotometry equipment holders, colourant crates, lid presses.
  • Maintaining suitable stock levels of new computers and peripherals.
  • Maintaining agreed stock levels of refurbished components.
  • Updating of SAP.
  • Compliant with company Health, Safety, Environment and Security guidelines, processes and procedures and the company Code of Conduct.


Role Requirements:
