Overview

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Lichfield.

The rates of pay are:

  • General Operative £12.21 per hour
  • FLT Operative £13.10 per hour

Flexible for overtime (1.5x pay after 40hrs) and occasional short-notice Saturdays.

This is a full-time position working rotating shifts. The hours of work are:

  • 6am to 2:30pm
  • 2pm to 10:30pm
Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative your duties include:

  • Safely unload containers in teams (3-hour timeframe) and relocate goods using WMS/scanners.
  • Perform two-person lifts for heavy items (up to 88kg) and handle premium furniture with care (no rolling/dropping).
  • Pick, sort, and palletize orders in a 175,000 sq ft warehouse.
  • Report damages and adhere to strict zero-tolerance policies for Saturday shifts (full attendance required).

Our perfect worker will be reliable and punctual, physically fit and able to work in a team with good communication and attention to detail. You must have basic familiarity with tech.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
