Job description

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a varied role within a fast-paced industrial environment? Our client, a respected national leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join their growing team in Leominster. This position offers a mix of hands-on warehouse duties alongside some basic administrative and support tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse and active workday.

Location: Leominster

Hours: 07:30–16:00 (rotating to 08:00–16:30)

Payrate: £12.21 - £13.00
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is essential due to the remote location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Picking, packing, and processing small parcel deliveries, loading/unloading goods, organising stock, and ensuring accurate order fulfilment.
  • Stock Management: Conducting regular stock counts, updating records, and reporting discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Site Duties & Physical Work: Moving goods around the site, keeping work areas tidy, and assisting with general upkeep of the premises.
  • Reception & Admin Support: Occasionally covering front desk duties, answering phones, handling emails, and supporting basic office admin tasks when required.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with colleagues across departments, helping with internal deliveries, and assisting team members with ad-hoc requests.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and general office software for basic admin tasks and record-keeping.
  • Hands-On Attitude: A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in both physical and administrative tasks.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Physically Capable: Able to carry out manual work and move across the site as needed.
  • Driving Licence: Must hold a valid UK driving licence to carry out duties across the site.
