Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy team on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a full-time, temporary role offering an hourly rate of £12.94, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with onsite parking and ongoing training.

Role involves unloading/loading deliveries, logging orders on in-house systems, picking with handheld scanners, and keeping stock and warehouse areas organised to maintain a safe environment. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Ability to carry out manual handling of heavy goods safely.
• IT skills to manage warehouse administration and log orders on internal CRM systems.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with unloading and loading of daily deliveries.
• Accurately processing and logging orders onto the in-house systems.
• Picking orders using a handheld scanner.
• Wrapping and checking orders prior to labelling and shipment.
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory management.
• Cleaning and tidying the warehouse daily to ensure a safe working environment.
