Position

We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Fowler Welch Evesham on a full-time and permanent basis.

Shift: Wednesday-Sunday 20:00-06:00

Salary: £13.11 per hour

Job Description

To receive, pick, and consolidate customer orders using the Manhattan warehouse management system (WMS) as required. Maintain the flow of product in and out of the area as the day’s work dictates.

To carry out all tasks in a timely and efficient manner to ensure continuity of business for Fowler Welch and our customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure loading/unloading of product complies with company policies and procedures.
• Complete correct documentation for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Report trailer or MHE faults according to company procedures and ensure VOR vehicles are placed in designated areas.
• Remain vigilant to ensure goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• Ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• Meet the company's productivity standards.
• Follow all safety practices and procedures in line with health and safety policies, SSOWs, and HACCP regulations, and challenge colleagues who do not adhere to these rules.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Receive, record, and notify customer returns to the appropriate Stock Controller.
• Assist Stock Controllers as required.
• Support colleagues and behave courteously at all times.

• Experience working in environments with strict deadlines and quality standards.
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable.
