Job summary

Select Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a long-established company in Ely for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join their afternoon/evening shift. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a pay increase after probation.

Duties include loading/unloading with a Counterbalance Forklift, picking/packing and preparing orders for dispatch, and stock checks to keep inventory records up to date. The role requires a forklift licence and the PM shift, with weekly pay and support from

Qualifications

• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Willingness to work the PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out stock checks and updating inventory records.

Warehouse Operative
Ely
Temporary to Permanent
£13.65 per hour (rising to £14.15 per hour after successful probation)
Monday to Friday | 3:30pm – 12:00am

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established company in Ely for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join their afternoon/evening shift. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering excellent long-term prospects and a pay increase after successfully completing your probation.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading deliveries, both manually and with a Counterbalance Forklift
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carrying out stock checks and keeping inventory records up to date
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Inspecting goods for quality and reporting any damaged or faulty items

What we're looking for:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience (valid or recently expired licence accepted)
• Happy to work the permanent PM shift
