We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative based at our Derby Site (DE65 6BG). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday working 06:00 to 14:30. This is a Full-Time permanent position offering a salary of £25396.8 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities

• As a warehouse Operative, you will support the effective running of the warehouse operation in a multitude of tasks, including loading and unloading.
• Safely load and unload products onto trailers, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum.
• Complete relevant paperwork for loading and unloading activities.
• Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
• Use material handling equipment (MHE) to support operational processes.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
• Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Maintain and update site Risk Assessments, Safe System of Work and working instructions.
• Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
