• Use manual and mechanical equipment to move stock.

Job description

Warehouse Operative | Castle Donington | £25,135.50 p.a. | Health Benefits

The Role

We are hiring Warehouse Operatives for immediate starts. You will be responsible for completing all daily warehouse tasks under the supervision of the Warehouse Team Leader.

Working Hours: PM Shifts: 2pm-10pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Receiving, storing, and loading customer-specific orders and stock into delivery units for dispatch.
2. Picking the correct stock from designated locations and ensuring it goes to the correct bay to minimize errors.
3. Performing stock counts, safety checks, and processing returned goods as needed.
4. Using manual and mechanical equipment to move incoming stock from suppliers.
5. Maintaining handling, Health and Safety procedures, and operating standards in line with company policies.
6. Contributing to a high-quality customer service operation to uphold our reputation as a leading logistics provider.
7. Please note: this role involves heavy lifting of bedroom furniture and mattresses.
