Warehouse Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client, a leading UK supplier of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Croydon.

The rate of pay is £30,701 per annum + bonus!

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, you will place goods into storage, pick stock, and consolidate orders. Assist in the loading of vehicles. Job to be performed in a manner which enables the Company to provide the best possible service to its customers and maximise environmental, health and safety performance. Other duties include:

1. Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
2. Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
3. Ensure the warehouse and yard are kept clean and tidy at all times, that spillages are promptly cleared and waste minimised.
4. Receive goods and check into the warehouse accurately.
5. Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, lifting, and lowering.
6. Assist in loading vehicles, working with the driver to ensure compliance with all legal requirements on vehicle loading.

Previous warehousing experience and Forklift experience are essential for this role.
