Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a hands-on warehouse operative in Coventry for shifts 6am-2pm or 9am-5pm. The role involves receiving, storing, picking and dispatching goods safely and accurately to support daily warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, be good team players with strong attention to detail and hold Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licences. On-site parking and a company pension are among benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload customer goods, and book into the warehouse with accurate paperwork.
• Pick, pack and despatch orders following procedures and quality standards.
• Operate forklift trucks and equipment safely, complying with safety rules.
• Assist with stock checks, cycle counts and inventory transactions using WMS.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, accuracy and customer service.

Looking for a hands-on warehouse role where accuracy and teamwork matter? Do you have experience operating MHE or working within a fast-paced warehouse environment?

Join DHL's Network Rail operation in Coventry, where you'll be responsible for receiving, storing, picking and dispatching customer products safely and accurately while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Receive, unload and book customer goods into the warehouse, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Pick, pack and despatch customer orders in line with operational procedures and quality standards.
• Operate forklift trucks and warehouse equipment safely while adhering to Health & Safety requirements.
• Assist in stock checks, cycle counts and inventory transactions using warehouse management systems and computers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, accuracy and customer service while supporting the wider warehouse team.
