A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join our excellent production team in Bradford in the position of Warehouse Operative.

The successful candidate will act as part of a team, supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse, focusing on goods-in and goods-out processes. This will include accurately receipting and dispatching stock in the ERP system, maintaining an organised and accurate inventory, and ensuring smooth loading and unloading of goods across various transport methods.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence and supporting the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day activities and the successful candidate may be required to act up and support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations in the Warehouse area or environment. Additionally, the postholder will be required to occasionally assist in other areas of the production, which may include packing, and assist in other production area's if required.

Key tasks and accountabilities associated with the role are as follows:

  • Co-ordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries to meet company timelines and standards.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in co-ordinating daily tasks and prioritising workloads.
  • Support the receipting and dispatching of goods in the ERP system to ensure accurate stock recording.
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.
  • Contribute to and improve the consistent delivery of high standards and process development within production and manufacturing operations. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with supervisory experience preferred for planned progression.

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Forklift licence preferred (not essential). This will be a training requirement in the role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for stock management and reporting
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions and manual handling.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and energetic approach to work.
  • Tidy and organised, and keeping the workshop safe.
  • UK Driving License.

Our production team is a happy team therefore it is important the successful applicant has good verbal communication skills, be flexible in approach to work and possess experience of working in a busy team, collaborating with colleagues. Good timekeeping and attendance are essential as is attention to detail.
