  • Maintain a computer stock database ensuring traceability of all parts.
  • Provide packaging and dispatch services for outgoing parts to Repairers.
  • Ensure stores are regularly cleaned and kept free from obstruction.
  • Carry out stock checks and reconciliation within Stores.
  • Report discrepancies or issues to Management.

Job description

Reporting into the Stores Supervisor, as the Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, updating relevant systems, undertaking site safety inspections daily, and working with the Store Supervisor to ensure excellent service levels. This role is based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town, E16 4TL, working shifts 4 on 4 off, including days and nights.

What you'll do:
  1. Maintain a computer stock database ensuring traceability of all parts.
  2. Provide packaging and dispatch services for outgoing parts to Repairers.
  3. Ensure stores are regularly cleaned and kept free from obstruction.
  4. Carry out stock checks and reconciliation within Stores.
  5. Report discrepancies or issues to Management.
  6. Adhere to quality management procedures.
  7. Organise couriers for special deliveries.
  8. Package items securely and dispatch to suppliers/repairers.
  9. Send parts for calibration, check deliveries, and verify quantities.
  10. Locate requested items and prepare for shipping.
  11. Maintain control of waste and recover reusable equipment.
  12. Monitor and control packaging materials.
  13. Maintain records of Test and Calibration equipment.
Skills and Requirements:
