Job summary

PPG is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our Carrickfergus warehouse. This permanent, full-time role involves picking, packing and assembling orders, unloading deliveries and ensuring accurate dispatch while following safety rules.

We provide full training, good benefits including pension, private healthcare and staff discounts, and a 39-hour week Monday to Friday as part of a supportive, growing team at a global paints company.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths (minimum grade C or equivalent).
• Valid forklift license required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Power pallet truck experience not essential but beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and assemble orders with accuracy.
• Maintain efficiency and safety in daily tasks.
• Unload/loading of deliveries and check orders before dispatch.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and follow health & safety rules.

Position Summary

We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for a Warehouse Operative within our Architectural Coatings division, based in our Carrickfergus Warehouse. We're looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team. Experience of working in warehouse environment would be desirable but not essential as all training will be provided.

A day in the life of...

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Pick, pack and assemble orders, ensuring a high level of accuracy at all times.
• Maintain a good level of efficiency.
• Align with health and safety regulations, while always maintaining safe-working practices.
• Loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Check customer orders before dispatch.
• Daily housekeeping

The hours of work for the position are 39 hours per week, this is a full time permanent role.
