Job summary

Gist Limited, part of the M&S Group, is hiring Warehouse Operatives in Carlisle for a permanent role. You’ll help keep M&S stores stocked with the products customers know and love, in a fast-paced environment, with full training and on-site support.

The role offers 40 hours a week, shifts 21:30–06:00 (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat), with premiums for unsocial, weekend and safety. Benefits include staff discount, pension, healthcare cash plan and free on-site parking.

• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Reliable and capable of working in a busy, physical role.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for dispatch.

• Location: Carlisle
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift pattern: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Shift times: 21:30 - 06:00
• Additional premiums: Unsocial premium £1.30, Sat premium £2.02, Sun premium £2.55

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be part of the team making sure everything from everyday essentials to festive favourites is picked, prepared and ready to reach M&S stores safely and on time.

Depending On The Operation, Your Day Could Include

• Picking and preparing products for dispatch
