Job summary

Holt Engineering, based in Poole, is seeking a Warehouse & Production Operative to join a fast-moving, people-oriented team. The role covers production and warehouse areas, with a temp-to-perm contract and full-time hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include assembling electro-mechanical components, testing sub-assemblies, maintaining ISO quality standards, stock control, picking/packing, kitting, and dispatching goods.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering is required.
• Packing experience is preferred.
• Electro-mechanical sub-assemblies experience is desirable.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Team-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• Test sub-assemblies to ensure quality.
• Maintain ISO quality standards across processes.
• Perform stock and inventory checks for material control.
• Pick and pack products for dispatch.
• Kit production lines with materials and tools.
• Dispatch goods to customers.

Job description

Holt Engineering are working with a industry leader in delivering technology to the health care sector based in Poole. They are looking for a Warehouse & Production Operative to help out in a fast moving and people orientated business. This role will be working in a mix of the production area and warehouse.

This is a temporary to permanent position working full time Monday to Friday. Salary - Up to £27,000 (depending on experience)

Key duties for the Warehouse & Production Operative:

• Working on Electro-mechanical assemblies
• Testing sub-assemblies
• Maintaining high quality standards in accordance to ISO requirements
• Stock and inventory checks to ensure materials are managed correctly
• Picking and packing
• Kitting the production lines with materials and tools
• Dispatching of goods

Qualifications:

• Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering.
• Previous packing experience.
• Previous experience in Electro-Mechanical sub assemblies (desirable)
• Use initiative
• Work well within a team
• Work under pressure
• A can do attitude
