Job description

Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Tesco Distribution Centre Magor, Newport.

A public transport link is available from Newport to the Tesco Magor depot - Newport city bus number 5.

The rate of pay is:

1. Week Day £ per hour
2. Week Night £ per hour
3. Weekend Day £ per hour
4. Weekend Night £ per hour
5. Bank Holiday Day £ per hour
6. Bank Holiday Night £ per hour

Overtime is available after working over hours, paid at:

1. Week Day £ per hour
2. Week Night £ per hour
3. Weekend Day £ per hour
4. Weekend Night £ per hour

This is a full-time role working double days, all applicants must be available to work at least one weekend day. You will work rotating shifts, the hours of work are:

1. 6am to 2pm
2. 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

The duties of a Warehouse Operative include:

• Using MHE equipment within a large racked and aisled warehouse to pick a variety of grocery goods - ranging from wine, sauces, shampoo, and confectionary to pharmaceuticals and domestic cleaning equipment.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Warehouse Operative will be physically fit due to some heavy lifting and repetitive actions in the picking and stacking of the cages.

They will show a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and awareness of other colleagues whilst driving and have a good mind for timekeeping to keep yourself on track.

No previous experience is necessary as a Warehouse Operative/Production Operative as full training is provided.
