Job summary

GI Group Main Account is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our night shift team in the UK. You will pick orders, check stock, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in line with site rules.

The role offers a two-rate pay structure: £13.19 per hour for the first 12 weeks rising to £13.69 per hour thereafter, with overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 40. Onsite canteen, free hot drinks, and gym facilities are provided.

• Picking and packing orders accurately to KPI.
• Stock checking and stock accuracy.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
• Adhere to all site-specific rules and operating practices.
• Report hazards and accidents to your line manager.

Key responsibilities as Warehouse Operative:

• Picking - Efficiently assemble orders without error meeting warehouse operative KPI targets
• Stock Checking
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the warehouse
• Ensure that all site-specific rules and operating practice are always adhered to
• Adhere to all aspects of the Company Health & Safety regulations currently in force
• Report anything which could be a hazard and report all accidents to your line manager

Personal Conduct for suitable Warehouse Operative:

• Maintain good attendance and time keeping
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
• Report anything which could be a hazard and report all accidents to your line manager
• Demonstrate flexibility and co-operation when covering other duties outside of your usual job role
