Job description

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives based in the Norwich area. Own transport is desirable.

Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.

This is an excellent temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. If you are offered a permanent contract, you will be expected to be trained and included in an on-call rota for out of hours customer queries.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage goods in
• Picking and packing of products
• Loading and offloading vehicles and working within service level criteria
• Daily branch proposals and continuous stock taking and day-to-day administration
• Deal with trade counter customers - provide a friendly and helpful response to customer queries, provide accurate and regular order handling to help achieve minimum time delay between receipt of order and despatch of goods, and resolve customer queries/warranty/credits/complaints to the satisfaction of all parties
• Any other duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment (essential)
• Good level of physical fitness – able to lift and move items safely
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good level of written and verbal English

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 - 17:00
