Warehouse Operative Role

We are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a global distributor of engineered products. This is a permanent position offering regular overtime paid at a premium, free onsite parking, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Role Purpose

The core responsibility of the Warehouse Operative is to pick and prepare orders for dispatch, accurately receive and store incoming goods, and process related documents. This is a fast-paced role requiring quick decision-making, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.

• Starting salary of £11.44 per hour
• Working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with early finishes on Fridays (39-hour workweek)

Key Responsibilities

• Checking, validating, and selecting products for dispatch
• Checking and validating products for storage
• Processing documents through the company's Business System (BC)
• Maintaining good housekeeping, health, safety, and environmental standards within the warehouse

Required Experience

• Previous experience in order picking within a warehouse or stores environment
• FLT license is advantageous but not essential
