Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - one of the UK's leading suppliers of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Bishops Stortford. Please only apply if you have your own transport to get to the site.

The rate of pay is £31,034 per annum, plus bonus!

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, with the following hours:

• 6:30am to 4pm
• 8am to 5:30pm

Location for this role is CM23 4TR. If you are within a 15-mile radius of the site, this role could be perfect for you!

Your Role as a Warehouse Operative

Your duties include placing goods into storage, picking stock, consolidating orders, and assisting in loading vehicles. The role requires performing tasks in a manner that supports excellent customer service and maximizes environmental, health, and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Discharge duties safely in accordance with legislation and Bunzl EHS policies.
• Use all equipment provided safely.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean and tidy, promptly clear spillages, and minimize waste.
• Receive goods and check them into the warehouse accurately.
• Place goods into storage bays, ensuring safe storage, lifting, and lowering.
• Assist in loading vehicles, working with drivers to meet legal requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate

Skills and qualifications include:

• Previous warehousing experience required.
• FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, driven, friendly, and approachable.
• Full driving license and own transport are essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond helpfully to team requests.
