Job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for Warehouse Operative(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods in a warehouse setting. The Warehouse Operative will ensure the warehouse is organized and operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
  2. Prepare and complete orders for receiving according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, store).
  3. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  4. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  5. Report any discrepancies.
  6. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  7. Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  8. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  9. Ensure the company uniform is worn at all times and is in a clean condition.
  10. Be available for and competent at general warehouse duties as and when required.
  11. Any other duties as defined by management.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.
  2. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  3. Good organisational and time management skills.
  4. Ability to lift heavy objects.
  5. A current UK driving license, no more than 6 penalty points.
