Your Role

Join the heartbeat of our operations! As a Warehouse Operative at Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping things moving—efficiently, effectively, and with precision. Your Responsibilities
  • Playing a key part within our Government and Defence contract you will be responsible for carrying out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, the processing of returns and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.
  • Role is based at our Bicester site in which you will have the opportunity to work within multiple teams and various buildings gaining extensive knowledge of our operations and business.
  • Complete the daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety checks (where applicable).
  • Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned computer-based tasks as required.
  • Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas.
  • Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI.
  • Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy.
  • Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
  • Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy.
  • Comply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working area.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • To succeed you will need to have a flexible approach along with the ability to work as part of a team or independently when required.
  • Ideally you will hold a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) licence (where applicable) or be willing to train and gain the skills to drive our MHE.
  • Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading, but not essential.
  • Basic IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy coupled with excellent levels of attention to detail.
