Your Role
The warehouse operative role is an integral element of the day-to-day operational functionality, delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within a Kuehne+Nagel warehouse environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
- Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, the processing of returns, and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned computer-based tasks as required
- Comply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working area
- Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Operate according to trained work instructions (ABC Modules/WI)
- Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices, including reporting all accidents and incidents within the workplace
- Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards, including accuracy
Your Skills and Experiences
- PC literate
- MHE licence (where applicable)
- Understanding of warehouse practices: picking, loading
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Reliable and committed to attending work on time
- Good communication skills
- Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy
- High attention to detail
