DFDS in Belfast is looking for a Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations on a rotating shift pattern. You will pick and prepare orders, load and unload vehicles, and ensure goods are moved, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.

The role requires warehouse experience and a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence; experience with Aislemaster is a plus and training may be provided. We offer a supportive team and a range of benefits.

About the role

Working a rotating shift pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, followed by 3 days on, 4 days off, you'll support the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved, stored, picked, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

You will be responsible for:

• Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Operating Counterbalance and Aislemaster FLT equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Completing inventory and stock-related tasks accurately
• Following all warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve operational targets

About you

You’ll have previous warehouse experience and hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Experience operating an Aislemaster truck would be beneficial, although training may be provided for the right candidate.
