Job summary

A logistics and warehousing company in Grimethorpe is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their Despatch Team. You will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining inventory records, and upholding Health & Safety standards in a supportive team environment. Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred but not essential. Weekly pay is offered along with long-term opportunities.

• Keep work areas clean and organised.
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
• Perform other warehouse duties as required.

Overview

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our client's Despatch Team based in Grimethorpe. You will play a key role within the Operations Team, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.

This is a great opportunity to work with a company supplying products to care homes, businesses, and individual consumers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on individual requirements and daily targets
• Place stock in designated storage areas and maintain accurate stock location records
• Conduct regular stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with the management team to report any issues related to customer consignments
• Load customer orders onto vehicles or prepare them for collection
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and report any hazards
• Keep work areas clean and organised in line with 5S standards
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 requirements and company procedures
• Perform other warehouse duties as required to support daily operations
