Job title: Warehouse Operative

• Part time, 16 hours per week
• Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.62 after 6pm
• Contract type: Temporary to permanent
• Location: Barnsley, S71

Job description:

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative seeking a stable part-time role in a growing company? Join our team at our client's refrigerated facility in Barnsley, where you'll be responsible for picking food items for a leading retailer and meeting daily targets.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required, as all training will be provided. Attention to detail when checking goods and picking is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Processing and handling products accurately and efficiently.
2. Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
3. Picking items using voice and scanners.
4. Working in a temperature-controlled environment (0-3°C).
5. Following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Meeting daily pick targets.
7. Using a pump truck to move goods.

Hours of work:

• Every Saturday and Monday off
• 4 pm until finish
• Flexibility to work extra hours during peak times is required.
