Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is hiring Warehouse Operatives to ensure orders are picked, packed and ready for delivery. You will contribute to efficient stock control and timely deliveries across the network.

Working hours average 41 per week, Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays. Benefits include 28 days leave incl bank holidays, life assurance and pension support, plus staff discounts and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong team player with good communication.
• Attention to detail in picking, packing and stock checks.
• Customer service mindset and accuracy in stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Check and store supplier-delivered parts accurately.
• Pick and load vans promptly and correctly.
• Inspect customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Verify stock quantities against the computer and bin locations.

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, and ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

Main Duties include:

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge;
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.

Working hours: 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

What you\'ll need to succeed:

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A good team player
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
